I imagine that the advantage of ...Thanks Thomas. I imagine that the advantage of 'rigid' riverbeds is that one can actually make a water surface on them out of acrylic paste or resin. But as you observe, it's a bit hard to use if you want to use it for streams meandering through a hilly terrain or something like that.
